The main entrance of the East Bank Regional Library is closed while the library repairs the sidewalk in front of the entrance. Library users must enter the library through the administration entrance on the right side of the library building. See map below:

The book drops at the front of the library are still accessible and can be used.

More handicapped parking spaces have been added near the administration entrance while the front entrance is closed.

The East Bank Regional Library, located at 4747 W. Napoleon Ave., Metairie, opened 13 years ago. Since then, the area around the library has subsided, breaking sections of the sidewalk. The library is repairing the damaged sections so they will not become a safety hazard.  The new sidewalk will have bricks that can be removed for easier repairs in the future.

The work is expected to last four weeks.
